Practical Action. Measurable Progress.

Reducing our footprint. Using resources responsibly. Working towards net zero.

Environmental Responsibility Across Our Business

Vision recognises that its environmental responsibility extends across its operations, services and supply chain. We are reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency and managing resources more carefully, with progress and priorities reported through our ESG Report and Carbon Reduction Plan.

Net Zero by 2035

Our first commitment covers Scope 1 and 2 emissions: the direct emissions from our operations and those associated with purchased energy. We are building environmental considerations into decisions about vehicles, buildings, logistics and procurement.

Scope 3 by 2040

Our second commitment addresses indirect emissions across the value chain, including transport and distribution, business travel, employee commuting and operational waste. Reaching it will require sustained action with suppliers, partners and colleagues.

Energy Efficiency

Smarter Premises

LED lighting, efficient equipment settings and lower-energy facilities help reduce demand across our operations.

Lower-Impact Travel

Rethinking Transport

Hybrid and electric vehicles, remote collaboration and consolidated routes help reduce unnecessary journeys.

Waste & Materials

Recovering Resources

Recycling, responsible equipment recovery and better packaging management extend the useful life of materials.

Responsible Supply Chain

Working With Suppliers

Supplier engagement and stronger procurement criteria help address impacts beyond our direct operations.

Measured Progress, Reported in Context

Our latest plan reports a 53.5% decrease while explaining changes to data coverage and methodology.

Reduce Unnecessary Printing

Fleet insight, print policies and secure release can reduce avoidable output while preserving the printing people genuinely need.

Choose Efficient Technology

We help clients rationalise fleets, select energy-efficient devices and consider suitable refurbished equipment.

Automate Paper Processes

Document automation reduces reliance on manual, paper-based workflows and supports more efficient ways of working.

Support Reforestation

PrintReleaf enables clients to support certified environmental projects and track their contribution through clear reporting.

Accountability Built Into Everyday Decisions

Our Sustainability Committee and senior management champions coordinate activity across the business. An environmental management system provides the framework for reviewing practices, setting priorities and identifying improvements.

Measure and Review

More accurate electricity, vehicle and transport data helps us understand our footprint and report progress transparently.

Engage Colleagues

Carbon literacy, responsible waste management and informed travel choices make environmental responsibility part of everyday work.

Keep Improving

Solar generation, smart metering, fleet electrification and stronger supplier engagement remain priorities for the years ahead.

What Is Included in the ESG Report?

The ESG Report provides a wider overview of Vision’s environmental, social and governance activities, responsibilities and priorities.

How Is Vision Working Towards Net Zero?

We are improving buildings, transport, logistics, waste management and procurement, supported by defined Scope 1, 2 and 3 targets.

How Does Vision Support Client Sustainability?

We help clients reduce unnecessary printing, rationalise fleets, choose efficient devices, automate documents and support certified environmental projects through PrintReleaf.

How Are Suppliers Involved?

Supplier questionnaires and developing environmental procurement criteria help us understand value-chain impacts and identify opportunities for closer alignment.

What Are Vision’s Next Priorities?

Priorities include greater use of solar generation, extended smart metering, improved recycling, fleet electrification, lower-emission commuting and stronger sustainability requirements in purchasing.
